Position Summary: The Department of Art and Art History and the Art Education Program are seeking a part time instructor to supervise art education student teachers in their elementary and secondary school placements. The supervisor would be responsible for reading lesson plans created by art education majors, observing student teachers in elementary and secondary schools, recording notes based on six art education competencies, and reflecting on the teaching experience with the cooperating teacher and student teacher. Supervisors are responsible for entering the data collected into a TK20 assessment system online. This is a semester-by-semester contract and dependent upon budget and course enrollment.
